Before You Fly

The following is useful to know before joining us for your flight

Terms & Conditions : Please make sure you are aware of all the terms and conditions found

Body Shape & Size : The aircraft has both a size and weight restriction on passengers. Passengers exceeding 120 Kilograms cannot fly in the passenger seat. You must be able to be correctly harnessed into the passenger seat and not restrict the movement of any flight controls. Experience has shown that passengers with a girth (widest point not waist) exceeding 1350mm will restrict the flight controls. If in doubt, we can check at any time before your flight. Refunds will not be given for passenger who are unable to fit into the aircraft, however, the ticket is transferable.

Clothing: Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for climbing onto and into aircraft and being strapped into a cockpit with flight controls. Avoid clothing and footwear that can became tangled in the flight controls or damage the aircraft. This means:

  • Enclosed footwear – no thongs or high heals.
  • Dresses and skirts are not advised
  • No loose chains or jewellery
  • T-shirts and shorts are fine.

Sun protection: Please make sure you have applied sunscreen before your flight, especially on hot, sunny days. You may wear a hat/cap as long as your headset can still be fitted and the hat cannot damage the canopy. Sunglasses on sunny days are a must, especially when conducting aerobatics. Polarised sunglasses are not recommended as they can distort your view through the acrylic canopies.

Food: No food or drink is allowed in the aircraft. Generally, it is better to arrive for your flight having had a light meal rather than an empty stomach. Please avoid greasy foods or large meals before a flight. Make sure you are sufficiently hydrated before your flight as water bottles cannot be taken in the aircraft.

Cameras: Video and still cameras are not allowed in the aircraft in flight as they can fly around during aerobatics and injure the passenger or damage the aircraft. The aircraft is fitted with a video system for recording the flight if arranged in advance. Please feel free to take photos and video with your own cameras outside the aircraft before or after the flight. Staff will allow time to pose for your photos both in the cockpit and near the aircraft before or after the flight.

Friends & observers: Friends and observers are most welcome but must be escorted while they are “airside” at ALL TIMES. Staff may limit the number of observers if the safety of them or others is compromised.

Drugs and Alcohol: We cannot carry a passenger affected by either drugs or alcohol. Please also ensure that the friends and relatives you bring are not affected either as they will not be allowed “airside”

Please arrive on time! Late arrivals may be rescheduled!
